Ferrari Motorcycle Concept With A V4 Engine And F16 Hand Controls

Ferrari Motorcycle

“Why there is no Ferrari motorcycle?” This is the question that Israeli designer Amir Glinik asked himself then he decided to create one. You can see from the pictures that the motorcycle is simply astonishing and you know that you want one.

Ferrari Motorcycle

The Ferrari Motorcycle will feature a Ferrari V4 Integrated Drive Unit, 1953 handlebars and rear suspensions, brakes with dual sculpted calipers, and a F16-inspired throttle quadrant. The motorcycle will be managed via a full-touchscreen and “the heart of the controlling system is based on a Ferrari engine management computer” which means that it should be powerful and safe in the same time.

Ferrari Motorcycle

“Vintage and modern Ferrari projects influence my design. It’s a mix of what I find to be the best Ferrari lines with the latest technology I could think of in terms of engine, gear and driving management. Preserving Ferrari lines and history, the aim is to create a bike with normal dimensions using existing Ferrari technology; to take the ease of service as a factor while thinking about low profile and CG. To produce a practical machine and not in any way a ‘Star Wars’ future ride,” said designer Amir Glinik.

Ferrari Motorcycle

For the moment there is no word on pricing and availability, however, I think that the Ferrari Motorcycle will be ready in a few years at a price that only a few can afford.

Motorcycle Insurance

Import Motorcycle Insurance
In the recent years, there has been a massive increase in the number of vehicles being imported into the country. This trend that started since 2000, has geared up into full form in the recent years. Most of these imported vehicles are Chinese bikes, scooters and mopeds. This seems to be much of a growing trend these days and with imported vehicles raises the need to insure them as well. Today you can find more and more manufacturers brining in their vehicles into the country and as the race grows, so does the number of insurers as well. Yet in spite of all such advancements in the import vehicle industry, it is still quite a difficult process to get a good import motorcycle insurance today.

What is import motorcycle insurance?
Since import motorcycles are cheaper than the usual ones these days, there are lots of them to be easily found around us. But with new imported bikes comes the need to insure them as well. This is where we have the import motorcycle insurance coming in. Though a majority of insurers and brokers might not be even aware of such insurance, in time to come this type of insurance will become quite important. Import motorcycle insurance helps you to insure your vehicle imported from a foreign country and registered fresh in this country.
What does it cover?
There is a problem with most import motorcycles – their spare parts are not easy to get and in most cases they are not readily available. So when a claim arises with regard to a repair of import motorcycle, the insurer may find it difficult to source such a part and even get authorized repairs for the same. That is why it might be difficult for you to find insurers providing you a complete or fully comprehensive coverage. In cases where you can find one, they might offer you a very high quote – even something more costly than the vehicle itself. The normal coverage offered include third party only bike insurance, third party fire and theft bike insurance, and comprehensive bike insurance.
Why is it different to normal motorcycle insurance?
Import motorcycle insurance is quite different from normal motorcycle insurance because of the reason that it is imported and you need an extra insurance package in this regard. Insurance companies require a completely registered vehicle to provide insurance and to get a registration, insurance is required – this is a pretty tricky situation. So normal motorcycle insurance cannot work for this one! To get your import motorcycle insurance, you need to first register your vehicle in this country and then only you can avail such insurance.
How to find cheap motorcycle insurance?
In order to make you motorcycle insurance cheaper, you need to add a voluntary access to your motorbike policy and add security to your bike like parking it in the garage rather than on the road. Also you need to restrict the number of drivers and the age of drivers included in your policy. Finally, drive a low grouped bike to lower your insurance premiums.

Thai Honda PTT SAG To USE Bimota 2011

At the moment it has only been ridden. It’s making very good times. If you are one of 12 then unfortunately it is always a little more difficult when you raise your hand, said Perales, before commenting on the performance of the Italian chassis. There will only be two riders using the Bimota frame in the World Championship. For the head of the Moto2 team this is a situation that will be an advantage when dealing with the factory.

We are pleased because it represents a more direct, more human contact, and if there are problems it will be much easier to resolve them. The deal with the Rimini based manufacturer will make Thai Honda PTT SAG the only team on the grid with the Bimota chassis. Perales said of the situation: We had a preliminary agreement with Suter but there were some terms in the final contract with which we did not agree and in the end we have decided to go with Bimota. The team’s preparations for the new season suffered a delay after their initial agreement with Swiss manufacturer Suter broke down due to contractual disagreements. The team, directed by Edu Perales, are set to contest the campaign with Thai Ratthapark Wilairot and Spaniard Héctor Faubel, and both riders are due to get their first contact with the new bike at the final official pre season test at Jerez (March 27-29).

Thai Honda PTT SAG this week ensured their presence in the new Moto2 category with a deal to use Bimota as their chassis for the 2010 World Championship.

Pour Moi Bimota 2011

They see the SB8K as a current model that could be developed to be a part of Bimota's future along with some new models. Apparently Bob Smith of MotoPoint is trying to exploit this to buy Bimota from the Court/Reciever and offerng to take it up lock stock and barrel and keep production in Rimini. In 2011 Italian law allows a company to be saved for a period after bankruptcy is declared.

Any remaining stocks are expected to be sold off along with the rest of the company's assets in an attemt to satisfy creditors. Bimota Importers, MotoPoint and another by a French consortium continued until they were ended by the court's decision on closure. 2 Buy Out bids, one by the U.S. Tognon's involvement in their company which suffered the same fate. Laverda people woulld also have poor memories of Mr.

The ill fated 2 stroke V Due and hub centre steered Tesi models were very expensive mistakes for such a small company, which ultimately brought about it's downfall. This ended of producing some of the most beautifully expensive and desirable bikes in the world. In 2011 in the wake of massive debts, an Italian Court, after many postponments finally closed the company and declared Bimota officially bankrupt.

Aprilia RSV 1000R Factory 2011

The Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory was the fastest bike around ten out of twelve curves and the fastest in top speed at the end of six out of twelve straights. The Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory did not just win, it dominated the final of the 2006 Master Bike, thanks to amazingly safe braking, rapid yet smooth and precise control when leaning into curves, excellent rear wheel feel under acceleration and, last but not least, a final drive gear ratio specially calculated for effective racing.
This year's Master Bike has scientifically and conclusively demonstrated that the Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory is the most efficient winning machine on the racetrack. It is also the first non-Japanese bike to dominate the final points table, and the most impressive V twin in the competition.
The RSV 1000 R Factory is the best twin cylinder supersport that money can buy. Its updated V60 Magnesium engine and new chassis combine with special, ultra-light materials and the best components in the world to ensure absolute excellence on the track. The Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory is the utmost expression of Aprilia's technological and sporting heritage.
Here is a bike designed for those who demand maximum performance on the track. Yet, like all previous RSV 1000 R models, the new Factory still sells at a surprisingly low price. Just like its predecessors, the new Factory brings you the best motorcycle technology in the world at a rock bottom price. Nowhere else will you find this level of equipment for such a low outlay.

The Factory is an RSV 1000 R that has been pushed beyond the excellence barrier, cleverly modified and equipped with only superlative components.

Aprilia RSV 1000R 2011

The The benefits are obvious in terms of less physical and mental stress, faster and safer motorcycling and the ability to remain fully concentrated for far longer, factors that contribute to success on the racetrack and safety on the road. Because riders feel so instantly confident on an Aprilia RSV 1000 R, they really can ride at the limits of their abilities and stay totally relaxed too. But what counts the most is the fact that the Aprilia RSV 1000 R is still the bike to beat when it comes to ease of riding.

The Aprilia RSV 1000 R is determined to maintain its supremacy as the best sports twin money can buy, for its advanced technology and for its amazing performance. It has served as a valuable test bench for the latest technical solutions now appearing on Aprilia production bikes. Endurance racing has provided more than just an unforgettable experience. Legendary races like the Le Mans 24 hours and the massacring Bol d’Or 24 hours have shown exactly how effective the twin cylinder Aprilia RSV 1000 R is on the racetrack , and how totally reliable it is too. The Aprilia RSV 1000 R has shown its competitive edge in world endurance racing, where it is the only production twin able to compete on even terms with the best four cylinder machines in the world, as demonstrated by the excellent results achieved.

Competition may come and go, but the Aprilia RSV 1000 R remains the unquestioned top dog among supersport motorcycles for its amazing handling on road and racetrack.

The New Honda VFR 1000 Continues to Taunt the Interweb 2011

As always, time will tell. However, there has been no indication so far from Honda that this might be true. There is speculation that the new VFR will see a bump in displacement to 1000cc, up from its current 782cc. The render looks clean, and influenced with Honda’s current design progression with the 1000cc CBR.

Now we have the latest image to hit the net, done by Vanjey Design. Fueling the fire, Honda has been keeping their cards close to their chest when it comes to the new VFR, which is rumored to come out in 2010. News surrounding the new VFR have been swirling around the internet, with various concept drawing and CG renders making the course.

Honda CBR 1000 RR 2011

A Honda Electronic Steering The Honda CBR also uses an innovative Pro Link rear suspension. In the chassis department, Honda’s CBR1000RR superbike benefits from a unique frame casting process as used on the Honda CBR6000RR, which minimizes the individual number of pieces that make up its frame. Other innovations on the CBR1000 include Honda’s proprietary Ignition Interrupt Control System and unique cam assist slipper clutch system.

Powering the motorcycle is a compact 999cc liquid cooled Inline Four that utilizes such technologies as Dual Stage Fuel Injection (DSFI) and a low slung MotoGP style exhaust system. In its current iteration, the Honda CBR has slimmed down significantly and now benefits from numerous technical innovations derived from the Honda’s participation in the MotoGP world championship with the Honda RCV211 MotoGP motorcycle. But unfortunately it came at a cost of additional weight. When first released the CBR1000 was known for its powerful engine, aggressive look and high build quality.

The Honda CBR1000RR is a return to the type of philosophy that made the original CBR900RR so popular: Take the performance envelope and make it big, make it encompass more than just one aspect of the riding experience. The Honda CBR1000RR is a return to the type of philosophy that made the original CBR900RR so popular: Take the performance envelope and make it big, make it encompass more than just one aspect of the riding experience. Originally released as a 2004 model, the CBR 1000RR represents the current evolution from the CBR954RR, CBR929RR and CBR900RR sportbikes that came before it. The Honda CBR1000RR is the pinnacle of Honda’s open class sport motorcycle development.

BMW Has Been Out 2011

We say go for it. Rumors indicate that BMW is seriously testing public reaction to the new concept and could put the bike into production in very short order if demand is there. Twin high-mount tailpipes, which do an excellent job of exposing the single sided swingarm, complete the look. Two projector style headlamps add some urban flair to the front of the bike while a single saddle seat marks the bike's minimalist design.

Up front, the traditional Bavarian Telelever fork has been replaced with a beefy USD telescopic fork holding twin wavy disc brakes. Introduced at the EICMA Show in Milan, the BMW LO Rider concept uses a variation of the standard Boxer theme, stripped down to its bare essentials. BMW could definitely fit into that category with its latest concept bike. Sure, placing a torque rich motor into a standard style frame isn't anything new, but bikes like the Moto Guzzi Griso, Suzuki B King and the latest Yamaha VMax prove that there is a revival in that particular niche.

Lately, though, there has been a new segment emerging, and it could be described as custom standards. The market shift towards ever larger engines was what prompted the German marque's withdraw, as the firm's latest Boxer engines just can't be bored or stroked nearly enough to compete with some of the V Twin behemoths that currently fill the market. BMW has been out of the cruiser market since it stopped building its R 1200 C models a few years back.

The New BMW Has Been Out 2011

As you can imagine the Paul Bird team are ultra keen to get started with it and so who better than the team itself to help us show the first edition of the race version of it here at the Nürburgring. The PBM team have evolved and restructured continuously in order to be in a position to utilize the new bike’s potential to the maximum next season.

The new race bike has been eagerly anticipated by everyone involved in the Superbike racing project for a while now, says Steve Guttridge, race planning manager of Kawasaki Motors Europe. The 2011 Ninja ZX-10R superbike has been teased for a couple of months now but this is the first time the bike has been shown in Kawasaki green with sponsor logos.
